Formalin - a formaldehyde source. Formalin technical the FM brands is used in production:
- in production of the polymerization and polycondensation polymers (polyformaldehyde, phenol formaldehyde, carbamide, melamine and other pitches) which are a basis of plastics, the film-forming and impregnating materials, glues, etc.;
- surface-active substances;
- for receiving an isoprene and butadiene, ethylene glycol, pentaerythritol, glycerin;
- explosives;
- polyatomic alcohols;
- formaly and other methylene derivatives;
- synthetic fibers;
- organic dyes;
- phenolformaldehyde oligomer;
It is used in metallurgy, in the oil and petrochemical industry in and fur production, in agriculture.
Formalin technical the FM brands finds broad application:
- in the paper industry for improvement of durability, a zhiroupornost and quality of paper;
- in tanning — for a skin tanning;
- in textile — for increase of resilience of products to a sminaniye and shrinkage;
- in agriculture — for processing of seeds and root crops, disinfection of the soil and livestock rooms, for fight against bacteria and fungi;
- in medicine — as a disinfectant;
- when embalming organic substances;
- it is applied to a gelatin tanning by production of a film film;
- as antiseptics.
